Comic ConJ. J. Abrams, Bryan Burke, Jeff Pinkner, Roberto Orci, Anna Torv, Josh Jackson and John Noble attended the vastly popular Comic Con. Comic Con 2008 ran from 24-27 July in San Diego, California. Thousands of fans got to see the Fringe pilot episode. For full details on the cast and Comic Con, I recommend checking out the TV Squad article. If you like TV shows, comic books and Sci Fi Comic Con seems to be the Mecca of connections. It was a smart move ensure the Comic Con goers got exposed to Fringe.

Apparently, Abrams stated that the pilot episode of Fringe that was leaked was not intentional. Also, Abrams confirmed that a Fringe comic book was a possibility.

Some highlights from the panel were:

They do not have a set amount of seasons that Fringe will run.

They have an overall direction that they want to take to the show.

Jeff Pinker said internet feedback is not only helpful, but necessary.

Each episode will have clues for the next episode.

The producers did not leak the pilot onto the internet.

If you miss an episode and come back a week later you won’t feel confused.
